About Worthy FM

Worthy fm has been the on-site radio station for the Glastonbury Festival since 2005. The presenters and producers are all volunteers starting out in radio and many of them, as a result of their experiences here at the Festival, have gone on to proper jobs in the industry! Tuning in to Worthy fm on 87.7fm at the festival will provide you with all the information and entertainment you need when you’re not at one of the performances, and if you’re lucky you might even get to hear me giving one of my famous weather forecasts!

Broadcasting since 2005 on 87.7fm and online, Worthy FM is the on-site radio station for the Glastonbury Festival in the UK.

Worthy FM broadcasts live across the festival site from the Monday before the festival opens until the following Monday when the festival closes. We broadcast on a short range transmitter, so you can hear us all across the festival site on 87.7fm, and you should be able to pick us up in the area outside the festival site too, sometimes as far as south Bristol.

If you’re driving to the festival, tune your radio to 87.7fm on the way. You’ll know you’re nearly there when you can hear us on Worthy FM, and we’ll keep you up to date on all the traffic and travel news as it happens as well.

If you can’t make it to the festival, you can listen to us live online through a link we’ll put on this site once we start broadcasting in June.

Worthy FM is run by a small team of volunteers, who present shows and roam all over the site during the festival gathering news, interviews and features about what’s going on. We have eyes and ears everywhere across the site, so if you want to hear what’s hot on site, then you’re likely to hear it first on Worthy FM.

We love hearing from people at the festival though, so get in touch with us and let us know what’s going on where you are. We’re based up by the farmhouse during the festival too, so feel free to use our illuminated sign as a navigation point as you wander back to your tent at night!
