Phil Hall – Childrens Presenter & Producer

Phil (on the right of this photo, in case you wondered) has become part of the furniture at Worthy FM over the last few years, so much so that it was only last year we noticed he’d still been paying for his own ticket each year. With that now fixed, Phil’s all set to storm it again in 2011.
HIs life’s been as random at his time at Worthy FM. He started out as a geologist, studying ancient rivers in Spain, analysing mass extinctions and getting excited about fossil soils. Then he moved to the BBC where he made science, and some non-science, TV shows for kids. Now he’s put that on hold to travel to the other side of the world to explore all the things he read about in encyclopaedias when he was younger.
A firm fan of Glastonbury since his best friend introduced the magic to him in 1994, at Worthy FM he covers stories and features involving kids who throw themselves into the festival fun. After all, it’s not just for grown ups.
